The National WWII Museum's capital expansion is made possible by a $400 million capital expansion plan—The Road to Victory Capital Campaign. This project funds bricks and mortar, exhibit design and fabrication, endowment, and digitization of our collections. To date, we’ve raised $335.6 million toward our goal.
Road to Victory Capital Campaign
The National WWII Museum's capital expansion is made possible by a $400 million capital campaign—The Road to Victory: A Vision for Future Generations. This project funds bricks and mortar, exhibit design and fabrication, endowment, and digitization of our collections. To date, we’ve raised $335.6 million toward our goal.
Upcoming Projects
Our capital expansion is designed to elevate the Museum experience to new heights. See what we have in store for the future.
Completed Projects
In the last seven years, the Museum has celebrated new additions to our six-acre campus. Our newest permanent exhibit, The Arsenal of Democracy: The Herman and George R. Brown Salute to the Home Front, opened in June 2017.
Digitization
Museum curators have recorded more than 9,000 unique personal accounts and collected more than 130,000 photographs and digital images. Recording these stories is only the first step—the subsequent dissemination of these materials will bring invaluable insight and learning for future generations.
Donors
Our capital expansion is made possible by our committed donors. We honor those dedicated to the Museum mission: telling the American experience in the war that changed the world.
Endowment
The endowment of The National WWII Museum was established in order for the institution to meet current goals and to ensure that resources would be available to meet future needs of our expanding exhibits, infrastructure, and staff.
Other Ways to Give

Become a Member
As a Member of The National WWII Museum, you can permanently honor the service and sacrifice of your personal connection to World War II at the Museum built to honor the legacy of freedom secured by the courageous men and women of the Greatest Generation.
-
$10 For Them
